MTC Day!
It is official! Elder Chase Roosendaal is gone. But before the MTC our family got together for lunch at Macaroni Grill. Mom,Dad, Ryan, Kara, Nic, Grammy, Zack and Ignacio. Chase ordered his last "outside" american meal for the next two years (BBQ chicken pizza). We had fun listening to everyone's MTC stories. But the tears came in the parking lot as Ryan hugged Chase. He was Chase's example of going on a mission. As we drove up to the MTC it was packed full of young guys in suites! Elder Roosendaal grabbed his luggage, gave us all hugs and walked away to start his mission. He will be an awesome missionary. He truly is ready to serve the Lord. Please keep him in your prayers! I will be updating the blog when we get his first letter so keep posted!
